The KP-9 uses a 5.5mm AK folding stock trunnion with a locking post on the front left of the receiver. So what options does this leave us with? The most basic are Vityaz-style triangle stocks and triangle braces. These mount directly to the 5.5mm trunnion, fold to the left, and lock onto the post.I'm going to have to disagree with y'all and go with the AKV over the KP9. The only real benefit that I see the KP9 having is authenticity. The AKV was built more for performance and cost. The availability and price of magazines is a plus also if KUSA ever discontinues the KP9 or goes under mag availability will be a serious problem.4.5 mm and 5.5 mm trunnions have a slightly different angle so even if you drilled it out it wouldn't fit quite right. For OP, you only have like 2 options if you want the stock to be able to stay folded. The factory 5.5mm triangle stock is made to latch to the barrel nut. And the zenitco has its own lock built into the rear hinge.
