What i seem to find is the z-count is so low as for it to not be dangerous or threatening. I made my own server to up the z count, but made it open to the public to also add the possibility of coming across human players. I'm pretty into it. :) 3. They literally admitted how fucked up the development was and fans were like "but there's still hope!". IMO the only reason DayZ has seen a resurgence and has so many positive reviews now is because modding was added. Dayz has been out for 8 years looks terrible has more of survival stuff fleshed out but Scum looks amazing and has more things to actually explore and has only been out 3 years so hasn't hit its final form or greatest potential yet, where DayZ is getting tired and really doesn't have much anywhere else to go without a complete remake IMO.
