My first M3 clerkship is internal medicine. Should I include Ambulatory and Emergency Medicine with the Internal Medicine UWorld shelf section? I don't have plans for an EM rotation, so I'm not sure if the EM material will be relevant anywhere else? Ambulatory would seem to fit with either IM or FM.Ambulatory Uworld section for FM COMAT. For those of us who are bone wizards (aka DO's) and who have taken the family medicine comat, would you recommend doing the ambulatory section of uworld. I am planning to finish the FM sections of truelearn and combank for sure. I did 4 days of the OME 'study schedule' and said i'd wing it. if anything, do the USPTF whatever guidelines part of the dorian FM deck and just coast on that. re-read the COMBANK explanations fully. i got a 102 for what it's worth (57th percentile) 7+ Year Member. The COMAT is a joke compared to Uworld in terms of question difficulty. The only thing that makes it hard is the vague and poorly worded questions and bizarre topics they’ll test you on. I think I had like 5 rheum questions and had to guess on 3-4 of them.

Not quite sure how to approach my IM COMAT. It comes up in about 4 weeks. I’ve almost finished all of COMQUEST IM questions and have made Anki cards associated with material I was sufficient with in the questions. What else would you recommend? Some people have told me UWorld didn’t really prepare them for the COMATs. So I only have one more weekend to study for the IM COMAT. So far I have done ~300 uworld questions.
