Lost sectors are still the best way to farm exotics or your chosen slot, even if it's a crap one, as you'll only get maybe 1 or 2 exotics out of your 20 runs and even then, those 2 may not be the one your chasing, and even if it is - the role can still be crap. I've farmed lost sectors for 6 of the hunter exotics and 6 warlock exotics and on average it took me about 12 lost sectors each. Quite a grind for one exotic. Quite a grind for one exotic.
